Saba raced through the field, lungs pumping, heart racing, muscles on fire. If she would have allowed herself the un-dignified appearance of running with her tongue lolling out, she would have, but even though she was in a hurry and running like mad she wasn’t going to justify looking like a fool. The excitement and apprehension she was feeling threatened to cover her hide with frigid ice, but the sun high above helped to deter that. Saba was surprised by how much she actually missed the sun.
